There has never been a better time to invest in renewable
energy. Last April the government introduced the Clean Energy cash
back scheme, more commonly known as the "Feed in Tarrif" scheme or
FITs. This is a 20 year payment scheme to ordinary energy users for
the renewable energy they generate through the provision of clean
energy resources. The three financial benefits to the scheme
are
- A payment for all electricity you produce, even if you use it
yourself (feed in tariff).
- Additional bonus payments for electricity you export to the
grid (export tariff).
