Over the past 21 years in the civil engineering and construction industry, Stuart has gained extensive experience in developing, establishing and managing a wide range of construction projects. These include high quality public realm improvements, infrastructure development, training and employment initiatives as well as multi-million pound maintenance and framework contracts with public sector clients. Stuart has been responsible for establishing management structures and supply chain relationships to deliver NEC partnership contracts across Scotland and North East England, while maintaining a value driven approach to all construction projects.

Stuart is also a board member of South Lanarkshire College.

Charles has worked in the construction industry for 27 years, specialising in civil engineering. Gaining detailed knowledge and experience in quantity surveying and estimating, he has earned high respect within the industry. This grounding forms the basis of his approach to contracts, where informal partnering and working with design teams and clients ensure that design and contract issues and value engineering are identified at the outset, helping to mitigate any issues after contract commencement.

Ultimately responsible for the commercial section of the company, Charles applies this ethos to ensure that colleagues offer this same style of management in the contracts in which they are involved. With his strong knowledge of natural stone work coupled with wide experience of major public realm projects, he is also the ideal choice to head up our recently formed Stone Engineering division.

With 36 years of quantity surveying experience in the civil engineering industry, David has extensive knowledge of NEC contracts that require rigorous and detailed cost control. As a result, he has developed compliant systems and processes that are transparent, auditable and easily followed.

Directly responsible for overall financial management and control, his role at Land Engineering includes evaluation and continuous monitoring of contract and project costs. He also oversees general contractual matters, sub-contracts, and IT.
