Healthy Working Lives
Health Working Lives (HWL) is an award that “recognises a planned and integrated approach to improving health at work.”
We are currently working towards achieving the HWL Bronze award, in liaison with Ayrshire and Arran Health Board. Our company will be assessed and after we have satisfied all the criteria, we will receive the award. We will then be evaluated annually by the health board.
Our plan after attaining the HWL Bronze award will be to proceed through to the Silver award.
At Land Engineering, we take the wellbeing of our staff very seriously – and we have plans in place for health campaigns such as No Smoking Day, Alcohol Awareness and Breast Cancer Awareness Week. What’s more, we organise activities such as white water rafting for our staff to enjoy.
