Launched in 2004, this project has now developed into a framework agreement involving pre-planned grounds maintenance of Scottish Water establishments. These include the reservoir network, waste water and water treatment plants – some 2,000 individual sites in total.
Activities
- Our service is tailored to ensure that each facility functions correctly – embracing sites of significant scientific interest that entails dealing with highly sensitive environmental issues.Fencing.
- The work consists of grass cutting, weed control to hard surfaces and maintenance of trees and shrubs, with herbicide treatment carried out carefully in line with safe working practices.

The areas we cover include Tayside, Fife, Lothian, Borders, Dumfries and Galloway, Forth and Strathclyde.
Outcome
With the aim of encouraging best value and practice in all activities, we have implemented a proactive management structure designed to ensure the continuing development of long-term maintenance strategies and environmental management plans.
