Land Engineering was appointed to reconstruct and refurbish the King's Stable Entrance to Princes Street Gardens.

This prestigious project significantly upgraded the Old Town entrance to the Gardens, improving pedestrian access and providing a quality of entrance in keeping with the importance of the Gardens within the Edinburgh World Heritage Site.

The works included widening the entrance with the construction of new gates and supporting piers incorporating a new feature cope-stone reflecting the area's history; a pavement built-out in natural stone with new dropped kerbs; new planting beds; landscaping and tree management.
