The responsibility that comes with overseeing Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management systems is very challenging, as legislation and the standards themselves are always changing. Having spent 20 years in the aerospace industry including the role of Lead Auditor with Rolls Royce, he now finds himself managing a team of five internal auditors working to ensure that all employees are operating according to relevant systems and procedures.
Winning the global Rolls Royce Health and Safety Award in 2004, Jim also won the Scottish Chamber of Safety Lord Cullen trophy in 2006, presented by Lord Cullen and published on the ROSPA website.
