Eddy fulfils a demanding role with us, calling on over 30 years’ experience of managing company fleets and plant. He now not only manages our fleet of 200 vans and 50 cars, but also the maintenance and repair of the vehicles and 800 pieces of plant – from strimmers to tractors – in our in-house workshop.
Responsible for implementing a software system that monitors all the information relating to vehicles and plant, from service history to driver traceability, Eddy also steers the training programme now being undertaken by two apprentice engineers in the workshop team. Outside of work, he is kept busy as Vice Chairman of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers.
