Charles has worked in the construction industry for 25 years, specialising in civil engineering. Gaining detailed knowledge and experience in quantity surveying and estimating, he has earned high respect within the industry. This grounding forms the basis of his approach to contracts, where informal partnering and working with design teams and clients ensure that design and contract issues and value engineering are identified at the outset, helping to mitigate any issues after contract commencement.
Ultimately responsible for the commercial section of the company, Charles applies this ethos to ensure that colleagues offer this same style of management in the contracts in which they are involved. With his strong knowledge of natural stone work coupled with wide experience of major public realm projects, he is also the ideal choice to head up our recently formed Stone Engineering division.
